A new national access scheme
Background
Hynt is a new national access scheme that promotes Welsh theatre and arts centre productions to visitors with an impairment or specific access requirement and their carers. It’s also a resource for anyone needing specific access information when planning a trip to the theatre. If you have an impairment, a specific access requirement or care for someone that does, Hynt applies to you.
Existing schemes run independently by venues were fragmented and inconsistent. The Hynt scheme aims to consolidate those schemes and deliver a single, clear experience. Led by the Arts Council of Wales initiative managed by Creu Cymru in partnership with Diverse Cymru, Limegreentangerine were appointed to help realise the scheme from naming through to the delivery of a highly accessible web presence.
