Mistletoe and Lime

So, here we are again, the end of another year. 2012 has been a vintage in many respects. As is becoming a time honoured lime green tradition, it's a time we take stock, look back over the year and also take a peak forward into the next 12 months...

Limegreen Studios at Christmas

So, 2012, you glorious beast, you worked us damn hard. You booked in and oversaw delivery of over twice the amount of projects than 2011. You gifted us a Canmol Marketing Award and a potential National Marketing Excellence Award for our work with Richard Parks. You help launched Traveline Cymru's simplified new website and you overhauled a huge national online directory, as well as continued a partnership with the Cardiff Devils. You trademarked an international identity, bottled the taste of the Gower, branded the city's coolest new bar and continued to help manage the brand of a big local college. Plus, you saw more of our work on the shelves of the supermarkets and gave vibrant life to one of south Wales's largest veterinary practices. You spruced up the studio and, sadly, said goodbye to two long-standing members of the team. And that's just the tip of iceberg. It's literally been non-stop.

As for 2013, well, it's our tenth year, so it would be a travesty not to try to top 2012. Already we're looking forward to adventures anew with Richard Parks' next conquest – Project X; the 30th Anniversary of the National Dance troupe and exciting new campaigns for our favourite travel information vendor. Plus, our first taste of working with the real estate sector; the evolution of an already successful IT brand and the launch of a global game-changing mountaineering brand. We also welcome two new members to the team, Rob and Sarah – and that's just for starters.

As usual we’re making the best of the break. Whilst some of us are off to warmer climates (smuggly for him, Adam’s gone to New Zealand) the rest of us will be enjoying our break, absorbing the Christmas telly whilst sipping mulled wine and sifting through the Quality Street.

Most importantly, to all our friends, suppliers and valued clients old and new alike; a heart felt thank you for being a part of our 2012. Next year is already full of bright promise and excitement which we hope you’ll be a part of. We wish you all a happy and healthy Christmas... see you on the other side! The studio will close on Friday 21st December but we’ll be returning bright eyed on Wednesday 2nd January. Speak to you then., Team Green.
